Stem Cell Update

hbotAs you read here a few weeks ago, I underwent a stem cell procedure in San Diego, California on January 24, 2017.

It was a very non-invasive and gentle procedure.  I was really pleased with how it all went.  I was extremely impressed with the way Stemgenex operated from start to finish.  I’m still hooked up to their “study” and “research” department as they are going to follow my progress post procedure for a year.

I’m feeling good but told not to expect real changes until about 3, 6, 9, 12 months out from the procedure.  The stem cells have been activated and are swimming around my internal environment doing their job…..which I hope is repair and rejuvenation.

It is highly recommended that I do 40 sessions of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy post procedure and in quick succession.  I am doing just that.  I am attending a hyperbaric clinic 5 days a week for one hour sessions in the hyperbaric tank.  Why should I be doing hyperbaric oxygen therapy?  Valid question.

I quote the instructions from Stemgenex here to explain why Hyperberic Oxygen Therapy is a wise post stem cell procedure treatment.

“Stem cells thrive in an oxygenated environment.  Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy offers many benefits including improving immune function, possessing anti-inflammatory properties, helping aid with detoxification and working at the cellular level by stimulating vasculogenic stem cell growth and differentiation in vivo.”

According to the Mayo Clinic “essentially in a hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber, the air pressure is increased to a value higher than normal air pressure.  Under these conditions, your lungs can gather more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure.  It has many benefits including carrying this oxygen throughout your body to help fight bacteria, stimulate release of growth factor and stem cells, which promote healing.

I am put into a large chamber and wear an oxygen mask.  The chamber is sealed and I am put under pressure such as if I was deep sea diving.  I sit in this environment for an hour and breath deep pure oxygen through the mask.  It is very relaxing.

From the hbot.com website I share the following:  Under normal circumstances, oxygen is transported throughout the body by red blood cells.  With hyperbaric oxygen therapy, oxygen is dissolved into all of the body fluids, the plasma, the central nervous system fluids, lymph fluid and the bone and can be carried to areas in the body where circulation is diminished.  Extra oxygen can reach all of the damaged tissues and the body can support its  own healing process.  The increased oxygen greatly enhances the ability of white blood cells to kill bacteria, reduce swelling and allow new blood vessels to grow more rapidly into affected areas.

Multiple Sclerosis is one of the many conditions treated well with HBOT.

I will certainly keep you up to date on the post stem cell results I gain with the help of my clean lifestyle and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

We are optimistic and hopeful.
