Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis – OMS LIFESTYLE

 The author of a significant study on Multiple Sclerosis explains how lifestyle changes can be highly effective in minimizing, halting and even reversing the effects of the disease.  Professor George Jelinek from the Gawler Foundation in Melbourne, Australia is interviewed below.  Dr. Jelinek has MS and has kept his Multiple Sclerosis under control with a plant based diet.  This is great information for anyone struggling with their MS symptoms.  Dr. Jelinek has written a book on the topic, “Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis” and it is very informative on this subject.

I am happy to say that I have been following a plant based diet for quite a long time now and  feel wonderful.  I admit that my walking abilities have diminished but not for lack of trying to keep that at bay.  I guess that is the course of my MS and I have embraced that and life goes on.  But living the plant based, low saturated fat, high vitamin D3, peaceful lifestyle has improved my health in amazing ways.  Take my Multiple Sclerosis out of the mix and I’m healthier than I have been in years.

Even if you don’t have a disease or condition such as Multiple Sclerosis…there is a lot of positive material on living on a plant based diet.  Even my sweetheart has adapted to 80% plant based diet with me and has also experienced a great improvement in his health.  He use to be on blood pressure meds but was able to get rid of those a while back.  We don’t need any pharmaceuticals or over the counter drugs for the normal societal woes as we don’t have those woes.

LET FOOD BE THY MEDICINE.  As I’ve said before, that is my mantra.
